Jurassic Park (1993)
Jurassic Park is a 1993 scince fiction film directed by Steven Spielberg and is based on a novel written by Michael Crichton. Before even the book get published, many studios and production companies started approaching and bidding for acquiring the picture rights. Universal Studios brought the rights before even the book getting published.
The film revolves around a newly created island full of dinosaurs. Story gets more interesting when one of the worker within the park tries to steal dinosaurs embryos.
Jurassic Park can be considered as one of the landmark in using CGI. The film was huge box office success and was well recieved by audiences all over the world.

Sneakers (1992)
Sneakers, 1 1992 film is little complex thriller portraying about computers, cryptography, government, espionage etc.
A group of security experts are shown in the film who are threatened by government agents to steal a black box. After executing the task, they found that the black box has the capability to crack all the encryption technologies. They realize one more thing too, the agents who threatened them to steal the box are not working for Government.
WarGames (1983)
WarGames, an 1983 science fiction film is a movie that has influenced many viewers and een industry itself. The film is about a young hacker who access US military super computer. The super computer predicts about the after effects of nuclear war. Hacker plays a nuclear war simulation game within the computer which actually leads to a neuclear missile scare and leads to the start of third world war.
The movies influence on the indsutry can be seen even today as the terms like "firewall" and "war dialling" has been coined/popularized after the movie. The term "War Driving" is actually derived from "war dialling". Many video games were also released based on this film.

Tron (1982), an American science fiction movie directed by Steven Lisberger is one of the must watch movie for hackers. The movie recieved praises and attention from critics and hackers alike due to the amazing visuals. It is a cult classic that all hackers out there will definitely find interesting.
A hacker is digitally transported into a simulated universe where he has to fight the villain, the Master Control.
The development of the movie took almost 6 years and it all started when Lisberger, writer and director of the movie, looked at a sample reel from a computer firm called MAGI and saw Pong for the first time. Influence of video games and computer technology can be seen through out the movie to the extend that they have even added Easter Eggs. For example, Pac-Man can be seen behind Sark when Tron and Ram escape from Light cycle arena into the system.
